INFORMATION TO DATA SUBJECTS
ACCORDING TO THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION CODE
(Legislative Decree n. 196 dated the 30th of June 2003)
The legislative decree n. 196 dated the 30th of June 2003 ensures that personal data is processed by respecting data subjects’ rights, fundamental freedoms and dignity, particularly with regard to confidentiality, personal identity and the right to personal data protection.
We inform you that, according to section 13 of the Code, the personal data that you give us, or that is otherwise collected during the regular process of our activities, shall be processed pursuant to the scope of our activities. Processing personal data shall mean any operation, or set of operations, concerning the collection, recording, organisation, keeping, interrogation, elaboration, modification, selection, retrieval, comparison, utilization, interconnection, blocking, communication, dissemination, erasure, destruction of data, whether the latter are contained or not in a data bank, and any other operation necessary for the best execution of our service.
The processing of your personal data shall be carried out with the help of electronic or automated means, in compliance with the privacy rules, security measures set forth by the law and the appropriate procedures necessary to guarantee the correct use of such data.
The data controller is Equita SIM S.p.A., an italian company, with registered office in Milan, Via Turati 9 (hereafter referred to as “Equita SIM”); the data processors are the employees and/or any other external subjects designated by Equita SIM. The data processors will carry on their activity under the direct supervision and responsibility of Equita SIM.
Providing the information requested is a voluntary act of the data subject; failing to provide the requested data, also in registration pages, prevents the data controller from using any of your personal data.
The data, or part of it, pursuant to the goals of our activity, may be communicated to:
- corporations that are part of the same group of Equita SIM;
- subjects that are external to the corporation or its group, that carry on activities that are connected or functional to the service provided, as for example the management of the information technology system;
- subjects that by law, or through an act of the authorities, have access to personal data due to their supervision and control activity.
